This Oco agate pair features intricate feather-like fortification banding surrounding elongated amethyst druzy-lined cavities.

Oco geodes are naturally formed within volcanic rock and are highly prized for their compact size, detailed internal structures, and crystal-rich interiors. Layers of microcrystalline quartz gradually formed over millions of years, creating the flowing plume and lace-like agate formations visible throughout both halves.

The open cavities later filled with silica-rich fluids, allowing fine quartz crystals to crystallise across the exposed surfaces. Trace mineral inclusions within the quartz created the soft lavender and smoky mauve tones visible throughout the amethyst druzy interiors.

These specimens display delicate cream, caramel, blush, and smoky taupe banding with highly detailed feather formations framing the sparkling crystal centres.

Each pair is unique in crystal growth, plume structure, cavity formation, and colour variation.
