This specimen features elongated dogtooth calcite crystals forming in a more vertical, layered structure, giving the piece a striking architectural feel.

The calcite is naturally included with hematite (iron oxide), creating deep red to earthy brown tones across the surface. Small inclusions of pyrite are scattered throughout, adding subtle metallic sparkle.

Areas of high-lustre “diamond calcite” - a trade name for particularly clear or sparkling calcite growth - appear between the darker formations, catching the light and creating contrast.
