This specimen features well-formed dogtooth calcite crystals, naturally included with hematite (iron oxide), creating its rich red to earthy brown tones.

The piece displays a more open crystal structure, with numerous exposed calcite faces that reflect light beautifully. These high-lustre areas are often referred to as “diamond calcite” - a trade name used to describe particularly clear or sparkling calcite growth.
