Beautiful elestial (skeleton) quartz cluster from Madagascar featuring complex stepped crystal growth with visible petroleum inclusions.

Elestial quartz forms through interrupted growth stages, creating layered skeletal structures where multiple crystal faces develop simultaneously. This produces the distinctive stair-step and skeletal patterns visible across the cluster.

Within parts of the quartz, petroleum inclusions can be seen trapped inside the crystal. These hydrocarbon fluid inclusions formed when organic-rich fluids became sealed within the quartz during its growth.
