An exceptional cabinet specimen showcasing a dramatic blanket of snow-white calcite crystals cascading over a sparkling sugar quartz matrix, with smoky grey fluorite cubes peeking through beneath. Rather than dominating the specimen, the fluorite provides a striking backdrop, creating depth and contrast against the bright, glassy calcite.

The fine drusy sugar quartz gives the entire piece a frosted shimmer, while the densely packed calcite crystals create a sculptural, almost floral appearance. Hidden amongst the crystal growth, the fluorite displays soft smoky-grey tones with translucent cubic faces that reveal themselves as the light moves across the specimen.

This layered combination of fluorite, sugar quartz and calcite is characteristic of Fujian's renowned mineral localities, where successive mineralising events produced some of China's most aesthetically pleasing collector specimens.
