Chalcedony Agate Rosette #13

£4.00
Description

A wonderfully sculptural Chalcedony Agate Rosette from West Java, Indonesia, displaying graceful folds of soft grey chalcedony wrapped around a sparkling druzy centre. The flowing, petal-like formation gives this specimen an organic appearance, reminiscent of a flower in bloom or a gently curling seashell.
Fine druzy crystals shimmer across the surface, while subtle tones of silver-grey, soft white and a hint of warm honey near the crown add depth and character. The layered chalcedony growth creates a sense of movement, making this an elegant and highly collectible natural formation.

Geological Specifications

Minerals: Chalcedony Agate Rosette (Microcrystalline Quartz)

Locality: West Java, Indonesia

These remarkable formations developed as silica-rich fluids slowly crystallised within volcanic cavities over millions of years. Layer upon layer of chalcedony formed around a central point, creating the distinctive rosette pattern, while tiny quartz crystals produced the sparkling druzy texture seen across the surface.
Each rosette is entirely unique, with no two specimens ever displaying the same pattern.
